Great sound
The Sommet Center was packed with fans (of all levels) for Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance. They really pleased with a great sound and set list. A good sound is difficult to pull off there, but the KoL did not disappoint, in my experience. They were solid thru the entire performance and dead-on with their sound.
From my seat (center stage, first tier/level), I could've used a little less lighting and production with the screens/jumbo trons. It was distracting, but probably nice for those who were further away or had obstructed views of the stage, in my opinion.
Event staff and fans were courteous. Adult beverage lines were a bit long and slow, but that's to be expected. All in all, it was a great time with friends and a great show.
